Freshly made breakfast will be followed by visit to the royal complex of City Palace, Astronomical wonder of Jantar Mantar, a fun filled photoshoot at Hawa Mahal- Palace of Winds made in red sandstone, Albert Hall Museum and pay homage to Govind Dev Ji Temple. We will halt for a quick and delighting photoshoot at Jal Mahal on our way to the iconic Amer Fort where a decorated elephant will take you in royal style to the palace gates. On our way to Agra we might stop at Abhaneri village of the later Gupta Dynasty Era famous for its dramatic step-wells. Fatehpur Sikari is a confirmed halt on our wat to Agra. This palace complex acted as the capital for Emperor Akbar and has the stylish 5 storied Panch Mahal, the towering Buland Darwaza, regal Diwan-e-Khas and Jama Masjid. You will visit the mesmerising Taj Mahal at the time of sunrise to see the astonishing glow on its marble surface. After breakfast we will head to Itahma –Ud-DaulahTomb known as ‘Baby Taj’ and famous for its semi-precious stone studded inlay stone carvings. Net will be a delightful visit to the Red Fort where you can roam the power corridors of Mughal Era, see the exquisite Diwan-e-Khas and the fancy Jasmine Tower- the royal prison where Emperor Shah Jahan was held captive by his own tyrant son Emperor Aurangzeb. While on your shopping spree in the evening do try the sweet and juicy Peethas and check out leather goods and marble items. Via an overnight train we will transport you to Khajurao.
A World Heritage Site and an architectural wonder you just shouldn’t miss. The Temple City of Khajurao is highly appealing with incredible temples and their outstanding stone carvings. After breakfast at the hotel you will be shown the Eastern and Western temples which were built between 950-1050 AD. Famous ones are Kandariya Mahadev Temple, Lakshmana Temple, Javori Temple and Vamana Temple. These temples are known for their exotic and chamming erotic art wall statues. You will return to the hotel for a warm dinner and a peaceful night stay.
